Plants on a gravestone and removes it over 5 seconds. Upon completing removal, the gravestone drops 5-25 sun as a reward. While removing a gravestone, Grave Buster is anchored in place and cannot move or be used for other purposes. Destroyed by zombie attack during removal.
Grave Buster is a mandatory utility plant for any Night stage featuring gravestones. Plant it directly on a gravestone and it destroys it over 5 seconds, permanently removing that zombie spawn point and dropping 5-25 sun as a bonus reward. In Adventure Night stages, systematically clear all gravestones in the back columns first to eliminate spawn points closest to your plants. In Survival Night, prioritize gravestones that are appearing in lanes with weak defenses. Grave Buster is vulnerable during its 5-second removal animation since it has only 200 toughness, so clear graves in safe columns first. In Endless Night Mode, Grave Buster is essential to prevent the gravestone count from becoming unmanageable in later flags. Always carry it in Night-stage seed selections.
Grave Buster does not combat zombies directly. Its value is preventing zombies from spawning at cleared gravestones, reducing the total zombie pressure in Night stages over time.
