Details
Fires a piercing pea every 4 seconds dealing 80 damage to every zombie it passes through in the lane. The shot does not stop at the first zombie - it continues until it exits the grid. Torchwood ignites piercing peas for an additional 40 fire damage per zombie hit.
Snipea is a high-damage precision attacker that fires a slow piercing pea dealing 80 damage to every zombie it passes through in a straight line. Unlike Peashooter standard pea that stops at the first zombie, Snipea shot continues through all targets in the lane hitting every zombie in its path. In dense lanes, a single Snipea shot can hit 5-6 zombies simultaneously for 480 total damage output. In Survival Mode, one Snipea per lane efficiently handles long column formations where multiple zombies line up. Pair with Coldsnap Bean to slow zombies so they clump together in the lane, maximizing the number of zombies the piercing shot hits in each arc. In Endless Mode, Snipea is a key component in lanes with high zombie density. At 175 Sun it is a significant upgrade over Peashooter but the pierce mechanic justifies the cost.
Snipea is most effective against dense zombie column formations where the piercing shot hits multiple targets in a straight line. A lane with 5 zombies lined up absorbs 400 total damage from a single Snipea shot (80 x 5).
Strengths
80 damage per shot is 4x Peashooter's output
Piercing mechanic hits every zombie in the lane simultaneously
Torchwood synergy adds 40 fire damage per hit for 120 total per zombie pierced
Dense lanes produce massive cumulative damage from one shot
175 Sun cost is fair for the pierce multiplier advantage
Weaknesses
4-second interval is slow compared to Peashooter
Cannot target aerial zombies
Single-zombie lanes do not benefit from the pierce mechanic
Screen Door partially blocks the first hit
600 toughness requires protective wall planting in front
1 Combine with Coldsnap Bean to slow zombies into a dense cluster so the piercing shot hits more targets per fire cycle
2 Use Torchwood in the same lane to add 40 fire damage to each zombie the shot pierces
3 In Endless Mode, one Snipea per lane efficiently handles the long zombie columns that form at high flags
4 Pair with Kernel-pult stun to freeze zombies in place for guaranteed multi-pierce shots on stationary targets
5 Back-row placement allows the full lane length for the piercing shot to travel and accumulate targets
