functions similarly to . will attack zombies in front of it by lobbing ‘garlic taco’ projectiles every 2 seconds that deal 120 damage on impact with 40 splash damage in a 3 × 1 square area around its point of impact. Garlic tacos will deal an additional of 5 × Poison Points splash damage to the splashed targets and add 1 Poison Point to them.

Upon impact, garlic taco projectiles will split into several projectiles:

‘s Garlic Cabbage, dealing 40 damage, bouncing once on impact. Each time the cabbage hits a zombie with Poison Points greater than 0, it can bounce again. There is no limit to bounce times. Each hit deals an additional 5×(target Poison Points) damage, as well as adding 1 Poison Point to the zombie.
‘s Garlic Clove, dealing 40 damage and having a 1/4 chance to be a Garlic Butter projectile instead, dealing 60 damage, immobilizing the zombie for 4 seconds, and immediately Poisoning the zombie for 9 seconds as well as raising their Poison cap to 30.
‘s Garlic Melon, dealing 100 damage with 33.33 splash damage. Direct hits deal an additional 20×(target Poison Points) damage. Splashes deal an additional 5×(target Poison Points) damage. Zombies also accumulate 1 Poison Point.

Split projectiles’ damage is remain fixed and cannot be increased by any kind of supports.

itself is a -based plant, meaning that it gains the ability to reduce all bite damage taken down to a maximum of 15 damage, and will divert every zombie that bites it to a random lane above or below.

Pros

  • Reliable damage floor — 120 per every 2 Seconds provides consistent, predictable pressure throughout every wave.
  • Broad applicability — No special conditions needed; performs in virtually every level type.
  • Fusion heritage — Parent-plant traits create a more complete attacker than either plant alone.

Cons

  • No specialist peak — Cannot match the ceiling output of specialized fusions in their ideal matchup.
  • Protection dependent — 300 needs at least one defensive plant in front for sustained multi-wave use.
  • Endgame limitations — Specialist and premium fusions eventually outpace Wither-pult in advanced content.
1 Place Wither-pult in the lane with the first and most consistent zombie arrivals so its attack cycle stays active and impactful from wave one onwards.
2 A wall plant at the front of the same lane ensures Wither-pult fires uninterrupted from a protected position across multiple wave cycles.
3 Check which Lumos bonuses are active in your current run — matching damage types can materially increase Wither-pult's effective output without any additional sun investment.
4 Memorize Wither-pult's parent-plant recipe so you can replant it instantly mid-wave if it falls without losing focus during a heavy zombie push.

What is Wither-pult and how does it work?

Wither-pult is a Odyssey fusion in Plants vs Zombies Fusion 3.9, created by merging two specific base plants. As an Odyssey-type fusion, it is designed for and exclusive to Odyssey mode encounters. It attacks every 2 Seconds covering 1 Lane in Front, Lobbed, dealing 120 to Ground, Water, & Underwater Zombies zombies with 300 toughness.

Does Wither-pult require sun to plant?

No — Wither-pult is an Odyssey-exclusive fusion with no sun cost. It is unlocked through Odyssey mode gameplay rather than purchased with sun on the main lawn.

What are Wither-pult's strengths in PvZ Fusion?

Wither-pult's primary strengths are its 120 damage output and 300 toughness. These attributes combine with parent-plant traits to make it a reliable, adaptable choice for a wide variety of lane setups.

What zombies is Wither-pult best against?

Wither-pult is most effective against Ground, Water, & Underwater Zombies zombies given its covering 1 Lane in Front, Lobbed attack coverage. In levels where those zombie types are frequent, placing Wither-pult in the lane they favor extracts the maximum possible return from its attack cycle.
