cannot be frozen by Snow Zombies, but can be frozen by Blizzards.

gains 1/1/15 ice charges from snowballs, ice tridents, and s respectively. normally deals 8 damage every 0.02 seconds to zombies directly in front of it like , but when charged it deals 2x damage, applies deep chill, and inflicts 1 Cryo point but has a 1/9 chance to use up an ice charge.

Deep chill functions the exact same as normal chill, but it can affect Snow zombies. s are immune to this.

Pros

  • Highest survivability — 300 means it outlasts multiple waves of sustained zombie assault.
  • Backline protector — Shields offensive plants from direct zombie contact for extended periods.
  • Universal use case — Effective against any zombie lineup regardless of special abilities.

Cons

  • Poor damage contribution — 8 is minimal and insufficient for independent zombie elimination.
  • Special zombie bypass — Air, dig, and vault zombies skip directly past its blocking.
  • Positional commitment — Must be correctly pre-placed; reacting to zombie positions mid-wave is rarely possible.
1 Mid-field columns (3 or 4) give the maximum stalling distance while keeping backline plants safely out of zombie reach.
2 Aloe or other healing-capable plants placed directly behind Soak-me-not dramatically extend how long it can hold before replacement is needed.
3 Always have a copy of Soak-me-not queued for instant replanting — the gap between it falling and a new one going up is the danger window.
4 Counter flying or burrowing zombies separately; Soak-me-not has no mechanic to handle enemies that bypass ground-level blocking.
