Garlic Pot

Garlic Pot

Common Type
Garlic Pot is a foundation fusion that plants garlic-type allies on its surface while minimizing the bite damage they suffer, redirecting hungry zombies toward the middle row. It acts as both a deployment platform and a passive defensive enhancer for any garlic plant placed on top.

Details

Garlic Pot functions as a specialized planting surface that reduces bite damage received by any garlic-type plant resting on top of it to a maximum of 10 per bite, offering superior protection compared to placing garlic plants directly on soil. This damage reduction allows garlic hybrids to survive far longer in heavily contested lanes.

Like other Flower Pot fusion variants, Garlic Pot benefits from a shortened glove cooldown of only 3 seconds when moved, versus the standard 10 seconds for most plants. This mobility advantage lets you quickly reposition the entire Garlic Pot and its passenger to wherever the zombie threat is most acute without a long recovery penalty.

Additionally, Garlic Pot inherits the lane-diversion aura of its garlic component, nudging zombies that try to bite it toward the center row of the board. Because of its small profile, straight-shooting projectiles from certain zombie types pass over it without dealing damage, giving it passive evasion against a significant category of ranged threats.

Pros
Cons
Reduces bite damage on placed garlic plants to a maximum of 10 per bite
Fast 3-second glove cooldown allows quick repositioning without long delays
Small profile makes it immune to straight-shooting zombie projectiles
Does not deal damage or attack zombies in any way
Only benefits garlic-type plants placed directly on top of it
Requires an additional garlic plant investment to unlock its full protective potential
1 Always place a high-value garlic fusion like Golden Garlic or Garlic Leaf on top of Garlic Pot to maximize the bite-damage reduction benefit.
2 Use the fast 3-second glove cooldown to rapidly move Garlic Pot during zombie surges, redeploying the garlic passenger to the most threatened lane.
3 Position Garlic Pot in lanes with heavy Conehead or Buckethead zombie traffic where reduced bite damage dramatically extends your garlic plant lifespan.
4 Chain multiple Garlic Pots across different lanes each carrying a garlic variant to create a network of bite-damage-resistant diversion points.
QDoes Garlic Pot protect non-garlic plants placed on top?
No, the bite-damage reduction only applies to garlic-type plants; other plant types on top receive normal damage.
QCan Garlic Pot be placed in water tiles?
Garlic Pot requires a Lily Pad or similar water foundation to be deployed on water tiles, just like a standard Flower Pot.
QDoes moving Garlic Pot also move the plant on top?
Yes, relocating Garlic Pot carries the garlic plant on top along with it, preserving your investment and deployment in the new lane.
QIs the 3-second glove cooldown shared with the plant on top?
The fast cooldown applies specifically to Garlic Pot itself; the plant on top follows its own normal recharge rules.
